Junior high kids are bi-polar. I know they are going through the whole hormone, body changing, adolescence thing. They are just a whole different breed than elementary. When I have a good day, it's a really good day! When I have a bad day, it's really bad. There is no middle ground so far.... I hope things get better.

This weekend me and a bunch of people are going down to the Twin Cities to see the NDSU vs. U of M game. I think it's going to be a close game, but I am not expecting us to win. We'll see though...

Homecoming last weekend was rather fun! I really enjoyed watching the parade and not having to be in it! It was my first time tailgating. That was great, but just a bit cold. The game was a mutilation of Mississippi. I had a good time overall.

That night Patents had a gig in Park Rapids, MN at the Eagles club. We played very well, but it was kind of frustrating in that the crowd just wasn't digging what we were putting out there. No one danced, and we had a concern after our first set about us using horns all the time. We adjusted the rest of the sets a bit after that. There were a couple people who came up to us after we were done playing and said that they thought we were great. The fact that at least a couple people liked us makes it seem like it wasn't a complete waste of our time. But we can't expect everyone to like us.... It just doesn't happen that way...

But it would be wonderful if it would turn out that way...

I don't have school the next two days, so I have a very long weekend. I am looking forward to sleeping in tomorrow and not having to worry about teaching! I will have a couple more long weekends during my student teaching, which will help alleviate some of my stress...
