Stupid technology!!!

So, I tried a week or two ago to update this thing, but something was going wrong, and it wouldn't let me. Anyway, I am home for Thanksgiving, and I just got back from my aunt's house where we ate a lot of food, talked for a bit, and now I am here. I'm listening to Jamie Cullum right now, and I highly recommend him. Great stuff (www.jamiecullum.com). Check it out. I would show you a picture of him, but for some reason I can't get pictures to come up on here... Stupid technology...


Anyway, next Saturday is the FM Symphony Ball, in which I get get all pretty, see some really nice cars, see expensive things being sold in the silent auction, and watch really rich people get drunk as the night progresses. This is the only fundraiser the Jazz Ensemble has every year, so we all have to be present for it. We valet park, hand out tickets, and guard the silent auction stuff. We do have down time, and sometimes we get the opportunity to dance with the rich peoples. Overall, it is a tiring night, but a fun one.

I only have a few weeks left of school, and I can't wait for it to get done with. I am sick of school, and I just want it to end. I would be perfectly happy just teaching private lessons and tending to my horses for the rest of my life. Have a nice little house in the country, have a good husband and my two twin children (because twins run in the family and I know I'm going to get them). It just feels like I am never going to get out of school. I have met some of my best friends here though, but I am starting to feel like one of the old people that are going to be there forever. I have seriously been considering just getting my general music degree just so I can get out. But I know that's not gonna happen, so I will just suffer through and get my education degree.

Tomorrow me and my parents are getting the Christmas tree. Mom is getting tired of decorating it by herself so we are going to get it while I'm home so I can help her decorate the house. And that is it for now.... :)
