The end of another year is near

I got home on Sunday from Pipestone, MN after another Matthies Christmas. It was good seeing Grandma in better health, what with her heart surgery and hip surgery and everything else that she's had done this year. Almost everyone was there this year, the one gone being cousin Angela. She's in medical school and she didn't have any time off. I guess that's how med. school goes...

I hate working at a grocery store....

I'm going to be spending New Year's up in Fargo this year. I know Aaron has plans, but he won't tell me what they are. I just know we are going to go to Monte's that evening. I'm also going to be seeing Kristian on the 30th, which I am excited for.

I saw Matthew (high school boyfriend) for the first time today in a couple years. He said that if I have some free time that I should stop by his house and have a few beers with him. It makes me happy that there are certain friends that one can have that it doesn't matter if you don't see them for a year or two. You can come right back and things are where they left off...
