Goodbye long weekend!

Most of last week was not the greatest time for me as I had one hell of a cold going on. I was in bed all day on Tuesday, most of the day on Wednesday, and half of Thursday. Now I am just at the last stage of coughing my lungs out. It just started earlier tonight, and my abs already hurt from coughing so much. I guess I don't have to go to the gym now. I can just cough to get that six-pack! This always happens when I have a cold... Oh well....

This weekend was good though. Martin came to visit me with his younger cousin Magnus, who was visiting from Norway. They came Saturday afternoon and I took them to the Great Northern. Martin really liked the atomosphere (and the food) there. After that we went for coffee at Babb's. Martin really liked it there. We stayed for coffee and a game of Trivial Pursuit. Then we went for a quick walk down Broadway. There was big flakes of snow falling with a little bit of wind, which made the walk the more enjoyable. We went home, watched Carrie, and had a long night of talking and such. It was great seeing him. It amazes me how quickly me and him became friends. It's a good feeling though...

We have only 5 more rehearsals before tour. I can't believe how quickly it is coming up! It feels like there should be more time, and for some songs I think we need more time, or people just need to get their act together, practice their parts, and we won't have a panic next week. Next week we have our home concert on Saturday, which will showcase all our pieces that we are playing on tour. There is also Brass Chamber night on Wednesday. And the Festival of Bands is next weekend. It's gonna be a long week next week....
