I love my dyne!
Well, I had another eventful weekend. I went to Minneapolis Friday night because Martin had to bring his cousin to the airport, and he wanted someone there with him. We got there a little late, so his cousin could not check in his luggage, but he could still leave on his flight. Anyway, it all went allright at the airport in the end. After that me and Martin got dress up and went out to eat. It was a great night. I needed to get out of Fargo, even if it was for just one night.
The next day we went to Ikea, which is a hugs store of Scandanavian things. Martin has this little thing called a dyne, which is the most comfortable blanket in the world!! So I just had to get one! It is very hard to get out of bed now. It is so light-weight (it's made with duck down feathers and regular feathers), but is so warm. I don't need any other blankets, and it's wonderful to cuddle with!! Martin went to the Swedish foodmarket and proceded to buy lots of stuff from their, even though I was supposed to keep him from buying out the store! We ended it by getting some coffee, and we drove back to Fargo.
We ended up eating at Juano's on Broadway. We ordered chicken fajitas for two. When they brought everything out on several plates, Martin had no idea how to eat it! I had to tell him how it worked. Then we went to Babb's for a bit. He likes that coffee house a lot. He says it's a hell of a lot better than the one they have in Valley City.
I then called Christopher because he said earlier in the week that he wanted to have a couple drinks with me. Me and Martin met up with him at Lauerman's. Throughout the night Rick, Annika, Al, Russ, Chaus, Dana, and others came by. It was a great night of hanging out with friends and having a few, staying out till last call. All in all, it was an enjoyable weekend that I haven't had in a while...
This week is Brass Chamber night on Wednesday, Festival of Bands on Friday, TBS/SAI Formal dance Friday night, and Concert band concert Saturday night. It's gonna be one hell of a busy week. And we leave for band tour next Wednesday. That sure snuck up on us damn quick! I am looking forward to Chicago though. If it's anything like last time we went, it's gonna be a great time!
Well, I got some more homework that needs to get done. I've been doing a lot of that lately.....
